Histugaya Roars!
Episode 48
The battle between the two captains rages on, Histugay release's his respective Zanpatou's Shikai 'Hyourinmaru' and immediatly gains the upper hand, easily dogding and countering Ichimaru's attacks. Hitsugaya eventually gets Ichimaru trapped and is about to go for the kill, when Ichimaru release's his own Shikai 'Shinsou', but not at Hitsugaya, at Hinamori!!! Luckily for Hinamori Leuitenant Matsumoto shows up in the nick of time and repels Ichimaru's attack. Renji feels there is no time to waste anymore, Rukia's execution date has been moved up to and earlier date, so Renji appears at Ichigo's special training session to also attain Bankai!
The Avengers!
Episode 47
Complete chaos! Captain Hitsugaya is up to his eyeballs in work!, with both Hinamori, Renji and Kira escaping from their cells. Day one of Ichigo's intense training is up and he is now resting his overworked body in a nice hotspring, of course Yoruichi has to join him letting Ichigo get a free peek, and she tells him more about Urahara's past, and about how he was a Shinigami captain. Meanwhile Hitsugaya has managed to hunt down Kira and Ichimaru Gin, but Hinamori shows up in a desperate rage, ranting about how in Aizens letter, she has come to find out that Histugaya, who she thought was her friend, is the murderer of Aizen, and that he secretly plots to destroy Soul Society. Hinamori blindly attacks Hitsugaya and he is left with no choice but knock her out, and he immediatly begins a fight between himself and Ichimaru Gin!

Episode 46
Renji and Kira have now both escaped from the respective cells, leaving just poor Hinamori locked away, rembering her past. The first time she ever saw Captain Aizen she could not stop talking about him and raving on to little Hitsugaya, she swore that she would deffinitly get into Aizens squad when the time came. This respect and Admiration for Aizen only grew and grew, especially after he had saved them all from Hollow's at a training session that went horribly wrong. After recoolecting these times Hinamori stands up with courage and immobilise's the guard of her cell with Demon Arts, escaping.
Overcome The Limits!
Episode 45
To attain Bankai Ichigo will be using the hardest method 'spirit transfer shell' that will force zangetsu to materialise, Ichigo will then have to fight zangetsu and win in order to attain Bankai. Ishida finds himselfin a cell with Ganju and Chad, all recovering from their wounds, although Orihime is not with them they decide that someone else must have her, which is true the 11th squad guy took her to captain Zaraki Kenpaichi. Zaraki does not intend to hurt her though, on the contary, he intends to help her in hope of a re-match with Ichigo. Meanwhile Renji breaks out of his cell, while Ichimaru wants to save Kira and Hanatarou is about to face the consequence's of hois actions regarding his time with the 'Ryoka'.
Ishida, Power of Limits
Episode 44
Ishida, even as injured as he is, determined to avenge his grandfather, use's a secret technique 'Heavenly wild suit puppet', this move allows him to move the immoblised parts of his body that Mayuri poisoned, then, completely going against his sensei's wishes, even though he was warned that this next move could kill him, ishida removes the glove on his arm and release's all the power that has been stored inside. Mayuri release's his Bankai but Ishida shoots straight through it, splitting it in half and leaving a cowering Mayuri with a gaping hole in him. However, Mayuri escapes by turning himself into a green like liquid. Nemu gives Ishida the antidote and tells him that Mayuri cannot revert to his original form for several days. Ishida crawls off up the stairs towards the shirne but is again cut off by 9th squad captain... Kaname Tousen!
The Despicable Shinigami!
Episode 43
Ishida and Orihime have been hiding out in a warehouse, while Tsubaki is being healed by Ayame and Shun'ou. Orihime can now call them out without uttering the magic words, which is very handy when they are attcked by the 12th Squad Captain kurotsuchi Mayuri who tried to blow them up. Ishida makes a nearby 11th squad guy take Orihime and run as far away as possible while he stays behind to take on Mayuri. A short time after the battle begins Ishida learns the real reason why the Shinigami were late that fateful day and that it was Mayuri himself that was the cause for many Quincy deaths.
Yoruichi, Master of Speed, Dances!
Episode 42
Yoruichi to the rescue! Yoruichi saves Ichigo from certain death and just as she leaves she tells Byakuya that in just 3 days Ichigo will be stronger than him, then, as quick as a flash she use's her unbelievable speed to outrun Byakuya. Rukia is put back into her cell and Ganju is carried off. Ichigo and Yoruichi are in some sort of underground training area and Yoruichi tells Ichigo that he can defeat Byakuya if he attains and masters Bankai (second release after Shikai) which is said to increase ones battle ability 10 fold, unfortunatley Bankai takes 10 years of training to attain, but with Yoruichi's new method she vows that Ichigo will master it within 3 days!
Reunion, Ichigo and Rukia
Episode 41
When Ichigo awakes he finds himself being watched by none other than Yoruichi the cat. Yoruichi tells Ichigo that he was almost killed and then shows him the thing that saved his life, it was the mask, the very same mask that saved him the in fight he had with Renji. Ichigo wanders how Yoruichi carried him to their current location, being a cat and all...so Yoruichi shows him an special artefact and transforms into 'her' true form, a young woman. Meanwhile back at the Shrine of Penitence, Ganju doesn't even stand a ghost of a chance at defeating Byakuya, and is badly injured by means of Byakuya's Shikai not long into the battle. Sensing Byakuya's huge Reitsu Ichigo snatches the artefact Yoruchi used and flies to the Shrine, where the real fight begins...

Episode 40
Yachiru drops down to the battlefield and puts Zaraki over her shoulders, as she leaves she thanks Ichigo for letting Zaraki have fun and 'playing' with him. Later, while he is recovering Zaraki tries to ask his Zanpakutou whats its name is, he wants to get stronger. Meanwhile, Ganju and Hanatarou have finally arrived at the Shrine and they are relived that no one stood in their way. Though things quickly take a massive turn for the worse as Ganju realises that the woman he has been trying to save is the dirty shinigami who killed his brother, and now the way back off the brigde is bloacked by none other than... Kuchiki Byakuya! Captain of the 6th squad!
The man of Imortality
Episode 39
Zangetsu is quite disappointed in Ichigo but tells him that he can win. ichigo suddenly finds himself in some other dimension, and Zangetsu tells him that he must fight something thats inside of him. Ichigo comes face to face with an alter self, who happens to be weilding Zangetsu, and all Ichigo gets is a worthless Asauchi. They begin to fight and once again Ichigo has pulled the short straw, struggling to dodge his alter selfs attacks. After annaylising the situation Ichigo prevails and he asks Zangetsu to fight with him once more. Ichigo returns to reality, now at full power and Zaraki is more than pleased, with a devilish chuckle Zaraki also release's his full power and the two charge at eachother delivering their final attacks. The battle has now come to an end, with Ichigo applogisiong and Zaraki telling him that Ichigo won.
Desperation! The Broken Zangetsu!
Episode 38
During the ass wooping he is getting off Zaraki, Ichigo can sence Chads faint Reitsu. With a great boost of courage Ichigo once again lauches himself at Zaraki with an all out attack and this time he actually manages to cut him. After a good examination of Aizens body captain Unohana tells captains Tousen and Komamura that Aizen is indeed dead and that the body is in no way a fake. After a short discussion Ichigo finds out the Zaraki's Zanpakutou has no name and now thinks that he may have a fighting chance. Unfortuantly for him though Zaraki counterattacks and breaks Zangetsu in two, wounding Ichigo in the process. Zaraki merely shruggs and walks away extreemly disapointed by the battles outcome. Now Ichigo lay there, and in a shadowy motion Zangetsu himself walks towards him.
Reason of the Fist
Episode 37
On his way Chad reaches the 8th squad headquaters. Easily defeating the junior shinigami he heads off, but the 8th squad captian now stands in his way, with an impressive entry complete with dropping cherry blossom petals, captian Shunsui says he cannot let Chad pass. Remembering his promise to Ichigo, that they would forever fight for eachother, Chad desperatly tries to take on Shunsui but is shamefully no match for him and is soon defeated. Now the battlefield lay still, with demolished surroundings and crushed moral.
Zaraki Kenpachi Approaches!
Episode 36
Hinamori is grieving over Aizen's death, Matsumoto gently comforts her and gives her a letter addressed to Hinamori from Aizen. Hinamori reads the letter and is extreemly shocked by the contents. At the top of the stairs Ichigo and gang are welcomed by Zaraki Kenpachi and the sheer force of his Reitsu make Ganju and Hanatrou collapse. Ichigo attacks Zaraki with all his power, but it seems his power is not even as great as the Reitsu Zaraki leaks out subconsciously.
Assasination of Aizen! The Darkness Approaches
Episode 35
Immediatly thinking about what Hitsugaya told her, Hinamori attacks Ichimaru, but her attack is intercepted by Kira. Not letting anyone stand in her way, Hinamori release's her shikai followed by Kira, but Hitsugaya with impressive speed stops them and sends them both away. Chad now making his way to the Shrine of Penitence is being watched by Captain Shunsui and Lieutenant Nanao of the 8th squad. Meanwhile Ichigo, Ganju and their helpful hostage also advance on the Shrine, but once agian someone is waiting for them... this time one with extraordinarily high Reitsu!
Tragedy of Dawn!
Episode 34
Back into the tunnels! Hanatarou heals Ichigo's wounds while Renji is found by some 3rd squad shinigami. Seeing Aizen and Ichimaru arguing at the captains conference, Hitsugaya warns Hinamori to steer clear of the 3rd squad and be very careful. Special orders have been given due to the fact that Ichigo and his pals are running around soul society, shinigami of captain and lieutenant rank now have permission to carry and release their Zanpakutous if needed. While healing Ichigo, Hanatarou finds a hollow mask in Ichigo's clothes and gets freaked out, but thats nothing compared to the state Hinamori is in... Captain Aizen's body is found stuck high up on a towers wall side, with a trail of blood left behind him.
Miracle! The Mysterious New Hero!
Episode 33
A filler episode...but an interesting one. Hollows are after the spirit of a cat which Yuzu dubbs 'Raku'. Yuzu and Karin are also visted by the famous Don Kanonji, Ururu and Jinta. Because of the mass of hollows showing up everywhere, Kanonji persuades the kids to join his new generation of super hereos, 'The Karakura Super Hereos!' and vanquish the evil hollows. Kanonji assigns them all ranks and both Jinta and Karin want top position, so, Kanonji tells them whoever performs better against the hollows and saves Yuzu can be RED. Unfortunatly for them its Raku the cat who saves the day by turning into a huge lion and destroying the hollows,only Yuzu who saw that Raku was the lion, neither Kanonji, Karin or Jinta saw.
Stars and the Stray
Episode 32
Renji and Rukia grew up in a shitty town, as they grow up their close friends die one by one and becuase of this the two of them set out to become full flegded shinigami. This path they have chosen turns out to be a tricky one though, people constantly look down on them becuase of their social background. Soon after joining the central spirit technique institute Rukia gets offered to be adopted into the Kuchiki clan and be graduated and accepted in to the Gotei 13. Renji feels that becuase he did not stop Rukia from accpeting this offer its his fault she is now on death row. He finishes off by begging Ichigo to save her.
The Resolution to Kill
Episode 31
The battle rages on! buildings are being demolished and bones are being broken! Renji had left the shinigami conference just to confront Ichigo and he even went to the 6th squad house to drop off his insignia, Kira and Hinamori both knew something big must have been about to happen. Renji is wiping the floor with Ichigo as he rants on about how its Ichigo's fualt Rukia is about to die, Ichigo admits that is true and he says that is the reason he is going to save her. Remembering his training with Urahara Ichigo unleashes his own Shikai, Getsuga Tenshou! And its all over... Renji cannot believe that he has been defeated!
Renji's Confrontation
Episode 30
Hanatarou leads Ichigo and Ganju into the underground water tunnels, which is convienant to their get away seeing how only the 4th squad know how to navigate through the tunnels. Ichigo asks Hanatarou why he is helping them and Hanatarou explains how while he was assighned to clean Rukia's cell, Rukia had told him all about Ichigo and what had happend. Hearing this Ichigo was only spurred on to hurry out of the tunnels. As they emerge the Shrine of Penitence can be seen and Ichigo and the gang hone in on the nearest exit, only to be met by Abarai Renji who is said to be 5 times more powerful than before... Renji wastes no time in releasing Zabimaru with a burning desire to kill the man who stole Rukia's powers!

Episode 29
Everyones busy! Ichigo and Ganju are running around like headless chickens while Ishida and Orihime are in a bit of a tight spot... or so it seemed. From the begining, Jiroubou had been after Orihime becuase of her unique ability, but Ishida saw this as cowardice and wasted no time in breaking out a fresh can of butt wooping on Jiroubou, not meaning to kill, Ishida destroyed Jiroubou's soul sleep and chain link to insure he could never again use shinigami abilities. Ichigo and Ganju, both being chased by massive groups of shinigami, eventually bump into eachother, but are now both surrounded. Desperate times call for desperate measures, the duo grab a nearby weak looking shinigami by the name of Yamada Hana- tarou and take him hostage, demanding the surrounding shinigami to let them pass 'or the kid dies!'. The surrounding shinigami being in the 11th squad merely laughed hesterically, they couldent care less about a 4th squad weakling like yamada. Meanwhile the 12th squad captain Mayuri is interrogating Ikkaku about Ichigo, but Ikkaku tells him nothing only explaining everything to Zaraki and Yachiru. In the end Ichigo and Ganju manage to get away as Chad shows up just missing them.
